From Oct 23rd to December 7th, 2024 I lived on the RVIB Nathaniel B. Palmer as it sailed from Punta Arenas, Chile to Lyttleton, New Zealand for scientific fieldwork. I ran a version of VIS-A-THON, a program I co-run at the RISD Nature Lab on the ship before science started. I’m working on developing projects with the scientists and other students (to be exhibited in Fall 2025) and on untangling my own art and experiences. In the meantime, these are some pictures.
